Terms of service
Pelvic Lens is run by Integrated Pelvic Care Inc., trading as Pelvic Lens. These terms are the agreement between you and us. Read them before you subscribe.
Who we are, and what this agreement is
Pelvic Lens is a product of Integrated Pelvic Care Inc., a company registered in Canada.
"We" and "us" in these terms mean that company.
"You" means the clinician, or the clinic, that holds the subscription.
These terms apply when you subscribe to Pelvic Lens, and when you use it.
Subscribing means you accept them.
If you subscribe on behalf of a clinic, you confirm that you can bind that clinic.
The privacy policy and the refund policy are part of this agreement.
What Pelvic Lens is
Pelvic Lens is a library of animated anatomy of the male pelvis.
Each model shows how one part of the pelvis works, and what changes when it does not.
It is built for licensed clinicians to use with patients.
You open a model in a consultation, and play a short clip in front of the patient.
You can send a patient a patient video page: a page with one short animation and your clinic on it.
Models and clips require a clinician of the practice to sign in.
Your subscription comes with a clinic address, at a name you choose on pelviclens.com.
The models and the clips are education.
They are not medical advice, and they are not a diagnosis.
They know nothing about any patient.
The clinical use page says more about that.
Who may subscribe
A licensed clinician may subscribe.
A clinic may subscribe on behalf of a licensed clinician.
You are 18 or over.
You are licensed where you practise, and you stay inside that licence.
You stay responsible for what you say to a patient.
You stay responsible for the plan you give them.
Pelvic Lens gives you a picture to explain with, and nothing more than that.
Your account
You sign in through Clerk, with your email address or with a Google account.
One clinician holds one clinic address.
A practice plan covers the number of clinicians it names, each with their own login.
Keep your sign-in to yourself.
You are responsible for everything done under your account.
Give us accurate details, and keep them current.
Write to hello@pelviclens.com if you think someone else has your sign-in.
Your clinic address and your branding
You choose your clinic address at your first sign-in.
It is 3 to 30 characters, from lowercase letters, digits and hyphens.
It does not start or end with a hyphen.
Some names are held back, because they would shadow a page of ours.
A name that a patient could mistake for one of ours is refused.
You can upload a logo, as a PNG, JPEG or SVG of up to 1 MB.
We re-encode it as a PNG on our server, and we store that PNG privately.
Replacing or deleting a logo removes the previous file.
You confirm that you hold the right to use the logo you upload.
You choose one accent colour for your pages.
We check that it carries text on paper, and we refuse it if it does not.
Six colours are refused, because each one carries a clinical meaning inside the models.
Your clinic name replaces our name on your pages.
You give us permission to show your name, your logo and your colour there.
That permission runs for as long as your subscription runs.
Price, billing and renewal
The standard price is US$24.99 a month or US$249.99 a year.
The first hundred subscribers pay US$19.99 a month or US$199.99 a year for as long as they stay subscribed.
That is the early price, and you take it at checkout while early places remain.
You take the price of your own tier at checkout, and it holds while you stay subscribed.
Choose monthly or annual billing at checkout. Stripe bills in advance until you cancel.
Monthly plans renew each month. Annual plans renew each year. The full charge and billing period are shown before you pay.
Stripe holds your card details, and we never see your card number.
You change your payment method in Stripe's customer portal.
It opens from Account, the button at the top of every page.
Prices exclude any tax your own jurisdiction adds.
A practice plan is US$59.99 a month for three clinicians. Each clinician after that is US$14.99 a month, up to nine. Ten or more are quoted by e-mail.
We can change the price with 30 days' notice by email.
A change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
If a payment fails, Stripe retries it.
Your access continues while Stripe is retrying.
If the payment cannot be collected, the subscription ends and your access stops.
Your statement shows PELVIC LENS.
Cancelling, and refunds
Cancel any time from Account, the button at the top of every page, through Stripe's customer portal.
You keep access to the end of the period you have paid for.
There are no further charges after that.
There is no refund for a partial period.
A founding or early price is lost when you cancel, and it does not come back.
We refund your first charge in full if you ask within 7 days.
That holds if you have not yet sent a clip to a patient.
We refund duplicate or mistaken charges in full.
The refund and cancellation policy governs all of this, at /refunds.
Patient links
A patient video page is a page on your clinic address.
It shows one short animation, your clinic’s contact details and the words you write.
You are responsible for the words you publish on your patient pages.
Write nothing on them that identifies a patient.
A patient video page is unlisted until you make it public.
A public patient video page is your clinic’s own advertising, and you answer for it.
The earlier patient clip links stay unavailable, including links previously sent.
Models and clips are available to a signed-in clinician of the practice for use during consultations.
Do not share your account or sign-in with patients.
Our content, and the licence you get
The models, animations, words, code and design belong to Integrated Pelvic Care.
The named attributions stand: the Four Horsemen, the five muscle patterns and the cluster drinking method.
Your subscription is a licence, and not a transfer of ownership.
The licence is personal to you, and you cannot pass it on.
It covers using the service in your own practice.
It covers showing a model to a patient in front of you.
It covers sending your own patients the patient video pages Pelvic Lens makes for them.
It does not cover copying, downloading or scraping the models.
It does not cover reselling, redistributing or framing them.
It does not cover reverse engineering the service.
It does not cover removing our attribution from anything.
It does not cover sharing your account or your sign-in.
It does not cover automated access, or getting around the check on the model files.
It does not cover building a competing product out of what you see here.
Your logo and your clinic name stay yours.
A model page keeps a copy of its files on the device that opened it.
That copy is what makes the next opening fast.
It stays on that device until the browser clears it.
The licence covers that copy only while you are subscribed.
Acceptable use
Use Pelvic Lens lawfully, where you practise.
Do not upload a file that is malicious.
Do not upload anything you hold no right to use.
Respect the rate limits on uploads.
Do not present the service as a diagnosis, to a patient or to anyone else.
Do not use it to harass, to mislead, or to work around a professional rule.
We can suspend an account for abuse.
We give notice where we can give it.
Clinical responsibility
Pelvic Lens is education.
It is not a diagnosis, and it does not choose a treatment.
It is not a medical device, and we claim no regulatory approval for it.
It is generic anatomy, and it is not a measurement of the patient in front of you.
It is not for an emergency.
Your judgement governs what you show, and what you say about it.
The patient brings their questions back to you.
Privacy
The privacy policy governs what we hold, and why, at /privacy.
We hold nothing about your patients.
A patient page loads no analytics service and no sign-in script.
We count opens and taps on patient pages, never who.
The privacy policy names every company that sees any of your data.
Availability, and changes to the service
We keep the service running.
We add models over time.
A model can change as the clinical teaching behind it changes.
We can retire a model, and we give notice before we do.
We take the service down for maintenance from time to time.
We do not promise that it is never interrupted.
If we close the service, we refund any paid period, pro rata.
In plain words: you get back the part of the paid period you did not get.
The other companies in the path
Clerk handles your sign-in.
Stripe handles your payment.
Vercel hosts the site, keeps the logs, counts visits, and holds the private file store.
Neon runs the database.
PostHog records product analytics on the clinician pages.
Google is in the path only if you sign in with a Google account.
Each of them has its own terms, and those govern its own part.
The privacy policy says what each one sees, and where it sits.

We can use it in the product without owing you anything for it.
You keep the right to use your own idea however you like.
Warranties
Pelvic Lens is supplied as it is.
We give no warranty that it fits a particular purpose.
In plain words: it is a teaching tool.
You decide whether it suits your own work.
Where the law that applies to you grants a warranty, that warranty stands.
Nothing here takes away a right the law gives you.
Liability
Our liability is capped at the fees you paid in the last twelve months.
In plain words: if something goes wrong, we owe you back what you paid us.
We are not liable for lost profit or for lost data.
We are not liable for an indirect loss.
In plain words: a cost that follows on from a fault is not ours to carry.
We are not liable for a clinical decision you make.
Where the law does not allow that cap, the law wins.
Your responsibility to us
This section is an indemnity.
In plain words: a claim that your own use brings to us is yours to cover.
You answer for how you use Pelvic Lens with your patients.
You answer for a breach of these terms.
You answer for a logo you had no right to upload.
We tell you about a claim like that, and you can take part in answering it.
Ending the agreement
You end it by cancelling.
We can end it if you breach these terms.
We give notice first, unless the breach is serious.
We refund any unused period, unless the breach was serious.
When it ends, your access to the models stops.
Thirty days later, your patient video pages stop showing their animation.
They keep your clinic name and contact details.
The cached files on your device are no longer licensed.
We keep your account and clinic data for 90 days, and then we delete it.
The sections on ownership, liability and law outlive the agreement.
Changes to these terms
Every version of these terms carries its own date.
We give 30 days' notice by email before a material change takes effect.
Using the service after that notice means you accept the change.
A small correction goes up with a new date, and no notice.

Law, and disputes
These terms follow the laws of Canada and of the province in which Integrated Pelvic Care Inc. is incorporated.
Write to us first, and we try to settle it between us.
The courts of that province hear a dispute we cannot settle.
Consumer rights you hold where you live are not reduced by this.
General
These terms, the privacy policy and the refund policy are the whole agreement.
They replace anything said before them.
If a court sets one clause aside, the rest of the agreement stands.
If we do not enforce a term once, we keep the right to enforce it later.
You cannot assign this agreement to someone else.
We can assign it on a sale of the business, and we tell you when we do.
We give notice by email, to the address on your account.
The English text governs.
